Our ready to grow systems cover the essentials, ensuring you can grow quality cannabis at home without spending a fortune. We supply energy saving LED lighting to keep your power bill down. A mylar grow tent to provide an ideal environment and a carbon extraction system to maintain airflow, temperature and reduce odors.
We spent 2020 studying cannabis cultivation and used that knowledge to put together our beginner friendly kits. We rent the essentials or have our add-on nutrient and soild media packs so you can follow along with our grows. If you’re renting from us, you also get access to our members only support to ensure you get your moneys worth.

Why DIY?
Affordability
At current, we don’t know what legal cannabis will cost but we can make a good guess based off of street prices. In New Zealand it’s expected that it’ll cost between $100 to $200 for 14 grams, possibly more.
Our tents let you grow that same dispensary quality cannabis for much less. We estimate that with our system, including energy costs, that 14 grams will cost less than $40. That’s a huge saving.
Convenience
Not only do you have the pleasure of watching the canabis plant transform through it’s life cycle, you also don’t have to leave your home to do it. This is especially important for customers who rely on the medical benefits of cannabis for symptom relief. Having access to your medicine is a huge convenience to those who don’t have easy access to a dispensary.
Purity
If you’ve grown your own cannabis, you know where it’s come from. You know that it hasn’t been exposed to pesticides or that the nutrients used were organic.
Trim
While we’ve mentioned the expected cannabis yeilds for our systems, we’ve overlooked trim. Trim is everything on your plant that isn’t bud. This includes the roots, stems, sugar leaves and popcorn bud. While none of these are good for smoking, they can still be cooked with to create various cannabis infusions.
LED technology uses 30% less energy then an HPS bulb whilst still maintaining good light quality. Also, unlike HPS, LED lighting maintains it’s efficiency over time. Both of these savings are passed on to you when you go to pay your power bill. To further reduce the costs of growing we highly recommend you run your lighting at night. This also helps to regulate temperatures over cold winter nights and warm summer days.
To run the kingled for one night on a 12/12 light cycle we estimate electricity costs of 29 cents.
To run the kingled for one night on a 18/6 light cycle, we estimate electricity costs of 46 cents.

We aim to provide free shipping both ways for users renting grow kits. For users renting individual components or whom are renting on a week by week basis, shipping and returns may not be included.
Shipping to residents in Christchurch may be same day.
